ArQAT’s Paper Accepted at SIGIR

Paper draft co-authored by team members Mossaab and Douglas and titled ‘Building Bridges across Social Platforms: Answering Twitter Questions with Yahoo! Answers’ recently got accepted at the 40th Annual International ACM SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval (SIGIR) to be held in the summer of 2017

This is following 2 previous papers that were accepted at SIGIR – which includes the paper titled ‘EveTAR: A New Test Collection for Event Detection in Arabic Tweets’ co-authored by external collaborator Hind and ArQAT team members Maram and Tamer and accepted in SIGIR 2014 and another paper titled ‘Cross-Platform Question Routing for Better Question Answering,’ authored by Mossaab and published in SIGIR 2015
